Reading up on photography
Recently bought some photography books from http://www.acmamall.com/ to brush up on my skills. One of it is Bryan Peterson's "Understanding Photography Field Guide". I only managed few chapters so far and it's been really informative.
I would recommend this book to any DSLR beginners as it not only talk about photography techniques but explains the fundamentals of digital photography like why it is advisable to save files in RAW format and not JPEG, 16 bit mode file editing etc...
